WoodLand
Before Woodland became incorporated in 1906 it was a homestead for Hudson Bay retiree Adolphous Le Lewes and then two iowa families who would build up the name Woodland through stores, trading post, and streets. Located 20 miles North of Vancouver, Washington Woodland is the Southern gateway to Mount St. Helen’s with a population of 5,820. Woodland boasts on it’s recreation of Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens and the annual celebration of The Lilac Festival. Woodland is also known for its planters Days and 85 acre Horseshoe Lake. The community offers walking, jogging, and biking trails, fishing and boating, parks, hunting, sporting events, annual festivals, and camping opportunities.

HAAPA BOAT LAUNCH– is located at the south side of the Lewis River. The Haapa Boat launch provides free parking, clean vault toilets, lots of trails, and picnic tables. There is plenty of decent bank access and it’s a good spot for all types of fishing plus you can put in a kayak, canoe, boar or inflatable where it’s not crowded.

HORSE SHOE LAKE PARK– is located on the north bank of Horseshoe Lake. Facilities includes a covered picnic area, which can be rented, a gazebo, an open lawn space for field games, a playground, parking facility, restrooms, and is home to the Rolling Freedom Skate Park.

MARTIN– is located along I-5 take on exit 2. Go west on SR 503 2 blocks west of the I-5 bridge. Turn left on Lake shore Drive, and drive 1.3 miles. Turn left on South Pekin Road and follow 2 miles to the access site. Martin access site provides bank fishing and boat access.

STEVENS MOORAGE RV CAMPING AND BOAT LAUNCHING– is located on 4005 Dike Road. Stevens Moorage will get you out on the water in your spot easier then ever before.

WOODLAND BOTTOMS– Located along I-5 take take exit 22 and Go west on Dike access Rd. In 2.5 miles turn right on gravel access Rd. Woodland Bottoms offers fishing access and a boat launch area.

HOFFMAN PARK– is located in the 700 block of Park Street, next to the library and across from the street from Woodland Middle School. Facilities include the Woodland Community Center, playground equipment, landscaping, and open play areas.

HULDA KLAGER LILAC GARDENS– The Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens are nonprofit botinical gardens specialized in lilacs, located at 115 South Pekin Road, Woodland. The gardens are open 10:00am-4:00pm daily; a $3.00 admission fee.

KENNETH BJUR MEMORIAL PARK– Kenneth Bjur Memorial Park provides a grassy area and playground equipment. The park is located in the residential district, on the northeast side of Woodland, at the intersection of Spruce and Madrona Avenues.

PARADISE POINT PARK– Paradise Point State Park is an 88-acre camping Park with 6,180 feet of freshwater shoreline. immediately east of the interstate.

ROLLING FREEDOM SKATE PARK– This park was completed in 2007 through efforts of the Woodland Rotary Club and many other volunteers. The park is located at the east end of Horseshoes Lake Park.

SCOTT HILL PARK– In 2011, the City of Woodland purchases approximately 40 acres of land of Scott Hill. This land had been designated for use of a sports complex.

LEWIS RIVER GOLF COURSE– is located between the North Fork of the Lewis River and evergreen foothills of the Cascade Mountains, providing quality public gold since 1967. Member options include clubhouse facilities, weddings, banquets, and golf courses.

WIC– is located on 1251 Lewis River Street. WIC provides pregnant women, new moms, and little children up to 5 food, education, and health services.

KALAMA HORSE CAMP– Located on Forest Road 81, 8 miles north of Highway 503. Kalama Horse Camp, primarily for horse riders, provides 27 campsites and access to over 50 miles of trails. $8 to $16 a night. No reservations.

Library
WOODLAND COMMUNITY LIBRARY– is located on 770 Park Street. The Woodland Community Library gives residents access to books, sources, and children story time.

WOODLAND CHAMBER OF COMMERCE– The Woodland Chamber of Commerce is located on 900 Goerig Street. The Chamber of Commerce operates the Woodland Visitors Information Center. They sell Discover (State) Passes and Northwest Forest Passes.
