Joelle volunteers her time with the CEDC as an intern over special projects. She writes and produces "In the Loop", the CEDC's monthly newsletter. She also helps maintain the CEDC website, shares social media updates, writes press releases, takes photographs and helps promote and publicize the many aspects of Cowlitz County which make it a great place to both live and do business. Joelle has owned and operated a home-based business, centered around business writitng, for more than a decade, allowing her the freedom to volunteer at local schools, serve as a Kalama Library board member and act as a coach and mentor to local youth.
Previously Joelle has worked creating ads for The Nickel and as a news correspondent for The Statesman Journal. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communications from Brigham Young University. Joelle is married and has two teenage daughters.
